Muheed Saeed, Manager of the Freedom of Expression Program at the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), has called on the Ministry of Communications to publish its broadcast audit following the revocation of licenses for seven radio stations.
Speaking in an interview on ABC News Gh, he emphasized that making the audit public would enhance transparency and ensure fairness in regulatory actions.
He noted that this step would help dispel concerns of bias or selective enforcement.
The recent license revocations have sparked discussions about media freedom and regulatory oversight in Ghana.
Saeed believes that full disclosure of the audit findings will allow the public to assess which stations are in compliance and which are not.
