The Minority in Parliament is demanding full disclosure on the contents of an air ambulance that recently departed Ghana, questioning the secrecy surrounding its departure.
Former Deputy Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, raised concerns, suggesting that the aircraft could have been transporting either cocaine or money.
“If there is nothing to hide, then national security should disclose the contents of the aircraft,” he stated in an interview on Tuesday.
Fordjour also urged the government to provide a detailed update on the gold bars and money seized in February, emphasizing that transparency is key to eliminating public doubt.
According to him, full disclosure would help clear suspicions about the government’s handling of such sensitive matters.
The Minority insists that accountability is necessary to uphold public trust and ensure that no illicit activities are being concealed.
