The New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, Mahamudu Bawumia, has announced that a credit scoring system will be implemented before the end of 2024.
Speaking at a media engagement, Bawumia emphasized that all necessary materials for the system are now in place, allowing for its timely execution.
This initiative is a key component of the NPP’s strategy to enhance financial inclusion and credit accessibility in Ghana.
The media interaction forms part of a broader campaign to highlight the NPP’s 2024 manifesto, which was unveiled in Takoradi on August 18.
Bawumia underscored the importance of the credit scoring system in the manifesto, stating, “This system will empower more Ghanaians to access credit and improve their economic conditions.”
The NPP aims to communicate these initiatives effectively as they prepare for the upcoming presidential elections.
