The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee, led by Chairman Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has received over 700 petitions from the public and is preparing to submit its findings to President John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking in an interview, Ablakwa highlighted the committee’s commitment to accountability, describing the process as “daunting but driven by political will.”
He emphasized the importance of addressing corruption and setting a deterrent for future administrations.
With field validations nearly complete in the capital and planned sessions across other regions, the committee aims to finalize its report in the coming weeks.
“We are all passionate about this. And what I like about what is going on is that we have the opportunity to show the same passion that we exhibited in opposition, now that we are in government, we are committed to this. And what this does is that it serves as a deterrent to those of us coming into government,” Ablakwa affirmed.
