The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has reiterated its readiness to probe into suspected corruption and corruption-related offences in respect of illegal mining.
Following calls for action by the public and civil society organizations on the recent Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) report by Prof. Frimpong Boateng, the OSP expressed acknowledgement of such calls, while indicating that it has already commenced investigations into the matter.
