The Ghana Police Service has launched a full-scale investigation into an alleged kidnapping and assault case involving a female adult, which has surfaced in a widely circulated viral video.
The disturbing footage, which has sparked public concern and outrage on social media, shows a woman reportedly being assaulted under circumstances that suggest a possible abduction.
In a statement issued by the Service, the Police assured the public that efforts are underway to uncover the truth behind the incident.
“We assure the public that we are working around the clock to get to the bottom of the matter and get those behind it arrested,” the statement read.
Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward as part of ongoing efforts to ensure justice and public safety.
