The Ghana Police Service has arrested nine suspects linked to the arson attack on the Electoral Commission (EC) office at Ayensuano in the Eastern Region.
This attack is one of several post-election disturbances reported in various parts of the country.
The latest arrests raise the total number of individuals detained nationwide for election-related violence to 106, all of whom are assisting the police with investigations.
In a statement, the Ghana Police Service assured the public that legal processes are being followed to ensure justice is served.
The statement emphasized the collaboration between the police and other security agencies to protect communities and maintain peace.
Authorities urged citizens to remain calm and provide any information that could aid ongoing investigations.

“We wish to once again assure the public that the Police and other security agencies are committed to the protection of our communities to maintain law and order,” the statement read.
