Professor Kenneth Agyemang Attafuah has officially retired from his role as the Executive Secretary of Ghana’s National Identification Authority (NIA), marking the end of a seven-year tenure.
During his time at the helm, Prof. Attafuah led significant advancements in the country’s identification systems, playing a pivotal role in the registration and issuance of the Ghana Card.
His leadership has been instrumental in modernizing and streamlining the national identification process, contributing to enhanced national data infrastructure.
In a brief farewell statement, the management and staff of the NIA expressed their gratitude for Prof. Attafuah’s service, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
They commended his dedication and highlighted his substantial contributions to the growth and success of the National Identification System, emphasizing that his efforts will have lasting benefits for generations to come.
