Information reaching ABC News Ghana shows that several Ghanaians, numbering about 95% in a British Airway Flight BA 2067 have been left stranded at Gatwick Airport in London following an undue delay in the departure.

A passenger who shared the information to ABC News Ghana under anonymity says the flight which was scheduled to depart from London at 11:50 AM is still yet to depart as; “they said one air condition wasn’t working”

He added that “they said in the next hour they were going to fix it, we’re in the 4th how now.”

According to him, the passengers onboard (BA 2067) were denied from disembarking from the flight, which led to an altercation between passengers and flight attendants.

On the back of confrontation of the, a TikToker was arrested for airing the incident live on his TikTok platform and taken down the plane, the passenger told ABC News Ghana.

“They’ve arrested one TikTok blogger for speaking up and going live. Police came to pick him off the plane,” he stated.

Further checks on flight tracking sites show that the flight with a capacity of 336 passengers, which was scheduled to depart at 11:50 GMT and rescheduled to depart at 15:56 GMT, is still yet to depart.

ABC News Ghana is following the incident and will provide more updates on this developing story.
