Clement Akolor, Communication Officer for Parliament Network Africa, has stated that the success of the 9th Parliament will heavily depend on the leadership, particularly the Speaker.
In an interview with ABC News Ghana, Akolor highlighted the crucial role of the parliamentary leadership in ensuring the smooth functioning of the legislative body.
He emphasized that the effectiveness, approach, and decisions made by the leadership will greatly impact the parliament’s performance and its ability to meet public expectations.
The direction and attitude adopted by the leadership will be key factors in determining how well Parliament performs and whether it can fulfill the hopes of the people.
He further added, “Going forward, the posture and the way the leadership of Parliament is going to define its approach will have a lasting impact on the success of this legislature.”
