A Skyarrow micro light aircraft reportedly crashed this afternoon in Community 1, Site 17, Tema, leaving two pilots feared dead.
Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred at around 3:30 pm.. According to officials, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has responded promptly and personnel are on the ground to assess the situation and provide necessary assistance.

“Two bodies have been received,” a GNFS official confirmed, highlighting the severity of the crash.

Preliminary reports indicate that the aircraft went down on the grounds of a school compound, prompting the immediate evacuation of all teachers and students to ensure their safety.

Officials from the Aircraft Incidents and Accident Investigation Bureau are reportedly en route to the site to investigate the cause of the crash.
Authorities have urged residents to avoid the area to allow emergency teams to work efficiently.
