Accra-based Metro TV was disrupted on the morning of Wednesday, November 27, when unidentified armed individuals stormed the station during a live broadcast.
According to a staff who spoke to Myjoyonline, about ten men, some appearing to be in police uniforms, entered the premises claiming to be pursuing a target.
Their presence caused a stir, with live programming momentarily interrupted.
In a video seen, Morning Show host Dr. Randy Abbey confronted the men, questioning their intentions.
The exchange quickly escalated into a tense verbal confrontation.
“Why are you here, and who authorized this operation?”
Dr. Abbey was heard asking as tensions rose.
The situation left staff and viewers shaken, though the exact reason for the invasion remains unclear.
