Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Tanko Rashid Computer, has declared confidence in the party’s chances of winning the Akwatia parliamentary by-election.

He emphasized that the NDC has put in place adequate measures to ensure success for its parliamentary candidate, Lawyer Benard Bediako Baidoo.

Speaking on preparations, Tanko revealed the party is fully assured of the security setup and optimistic of a smooth electoral process.

“The NDC is very much satisfied with plans and the deployment strategy. Everything we have done so far is for the massive victory for the party,” he said.

He added that the support of the people has further strengthened the NDC’s campaign efforts. According to him, the citizens’ satisfaction with the current state of affairs has made it easier for the party to connect with voters and secure a convincing win.
