Renowned actor and politician, John Dumelo has asserted that there is no time to be wasted in court after elections. According to him, his outfit will not rely on prolonged post-electoral legal battles to secure a win in the upcoming 2024 general election.
John Dumelo, who is the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, made this declaration when he joined the flagbearer of the NDC, John Mahama, on a working visit in the constituency.
He highlighted that the NDC will deploy well-trained polling agents who will resist any attempts of bribery or corruption and ensure the accurate collation of results in order to secure victory.
Speaking to some electorates at a gathering, he said, “We will not go to court. We don’t have time to go to court after the elections. We will protect the votes at the polling station”.
Expressing his confidence of winning the parliamentary seat this time around, he added, “I will win the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat for the NDC, come December 7. Ayawaso West is dirty but I will make sure it becomes clean”.
Meanwhile, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has called on Ghanaians to vote out the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
