John Dramani Mahama, Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has issued a strong warning against any attempts to manipulate the upcoming elections.
Speaking at the NDC’s final rally held at Zurak Park in Madina on Thursday, December 5, 2024, Mahama reaffirmed his party’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the electoral process.
Addressing a large crowd of supporters, Mahama called on the Electoral Commission, security agencies, and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to uphold democratic principles and ensure a fair and transparent election.
He stressed that any acts of voter manipulation or interference would not be tolerated.
“I want to caution the NPP administration, the security services, and the entire body of people who are in charge of supervising this election. I urge you to resist the nefarious actions that some people are planning,” he declared.
Mahama also rallied the people of Ghana to remain vigilant and actively participate in protecting the election results.
“To the people of Ghana, the National Democratic Congress will go to the polling station with you. Together, we will police and courageously protect our votes and resist all attempts to steal them,” he said.
