Abetifi Member of Parliament and Minister of Food and Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong, has reiterated the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) firm resolve to win the 2024 elections at all costs.
Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd at an NPP campaign rally in Nsawam, Eastern Region, Mr. Acheampong declared that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) would not triumph in the December 7 polls.
He emphasized the NPP’s commitment to maintaining its position as a dominant force in Ghanaian politics, dismissing any possibility of an NDC victory.
“I have said that whether the NDC likes it or not, they will never win the 2024 elections. They would not win. You can check their records. They would not win. The NPP would win the elections. The NPP exists to win elections,” Acheampong stated.
His comments come amid controversy surrounding his bid to acquire a sixty percent stake in four hotels owned by the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) through his Rock City Hotel.
Despite the pressure, Acheampong remains resolute in his assertion that the NPP will emerge victorious.
Highlighting the party’s strategy, Acheampong revealed that the NPP would leverage the support of pastors, imams, and traditionalists within their ranks to secure a win.
“So, we would do whatever it takes to win the elections. We are a political party that has pastors, imams, and traditionalists, so whatever means we would take to win the elections, we would do so.
‘Burn the sea if you don’t understand, we’ll win and continue with our good works,'” he declared.
