The Ministry of Education has announced the release of the 2024/25 school placement results, allowing nearly half a million students to secure their Senior High School or TVET admission for the upcoming academic year.
This much-anticipated release enables successful students to confirm their placements and prepare for the next step in their education journey.
According to the Ministry, a total of 553,155 out of 563,339 candidates qualified for placement.
Remarkably, 447,698 of these qualified candidates—representing 80.93%—have gained automatic placement into one of their selected school choices.
However, approximately 104,918 students, despite qualifying, did not receive automatic placement in any of their preferred institutions.
The Ministry is urging these students to utilize the Self-Placement platform to secure a school with available spots.
To support students and families navigating the placement process, the Ministry has made resources accessible, including the official CSSPS website, where students can check their placement status using their index numbers.
Additionally, the National Solution Centre at GNAT Hall in Accra and 16 other regional centers have been set up to provide further guidance. A dedicated helpline, 0308258001, is also available for assistance with any placement inquiries.
