President John Dramani Mahama has submitted the names of 12 nominees to Parliament for vetting and approval, including a key appointment for the Ministry of Education.
Among the nominees is Haruna Iddrisu, a seasoned politician and former Minister for Communications, who is set to take over as Education Minister.
Iddrisu, who has previously held leadership roles as Majority and Minority Leader in Parliament, brings a wealth of experience to this pivotal ministry.
Alongside Iddrisu, the President has nominated a blend of experienced politicians and professionals to lead critical sectors.
Notable sector appointments include Kwame Governs Agbodza for Roads and Highways, Eric Opoku for Food and Agriculture, and Agnes Naa Momo Lartey for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.
Additionally, regional ministers such as Wilbert Petty Brentum for Western North and Eduamoah Ekow Panyin Okyere for Central Region will spearhead regional governance and development initiatives.
