New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, is set to file his nomination forms for the party’s presidential primary on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
The former Assin Central MP’s filing is scheduled for 1 pm at the NPP headquarters in Accra. This was confirmed by the spokesperson of Mr. Agyapong’s campaign team, Kwasi Kwarteng, in a post on X on Monday, August 25, 2025.
“This is to officially inform the general public, members, and sympathisers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong will be filing his nomination to contest for the flagbearership position of the party in the upcoming 2026 presidential primaries,” the statement said.
