Commercial transport fares are set to drop by 15%, the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) has confirmed.
Speaking to ABC News GH on Monday, GPRTU Spokesperson Abbas Imoro said the decision was reached in consensus with all stakeholders.
“We had a meeting with Transport Ministry,” he disclosed.
“And finally we resolve to decrease it by 15,” he added. The reduction is expected to bring some relief to commuters across the country.
