Her Excellency the First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Dramani Mahama, delivered a powerful address at the 7th Edition of the Merck Foundation First Ladies Initiative (MFFLI) Summit held in Dubai on Wednesday.
She highlighted the importance of strengthening healthcare systems and empowering women, while celebrating Ghana’s 13-year impactful partnership with the Merck Foundation.
Mrs. Mahama emphasized the vital role First Ladies play as Ambassadors for the “More Than a Mother” campaign, which aims to break the stigma surrounding infertility and promote gender equality.
She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Merck Foundation for its continued support in driving social change.
Reaffirming her commitment, she pledged that the Lordina Foundation will deepen its collaboration with Merck to advance health, education, and fight social stigma in Ghana.
