Some National Democratic Congress (NDC) youth in the Ho Central constituency have stormed the party office, expressing outrage over their exclusion from President John Mahama’s ministerial appointments.
Their actions follow the release of the final list of 23 sector minister nominees, none of whom hail from the constituency.
In a video circulating online on Tuesday, January 21 evening, the group, described as frustrated and feeling sidelined, claims that without representation in government, Ho Central risks being deprived of essential development and attention.
The youth argue that the lack of a ministerial nominee from their area undermines their contribution to the NDC’s electoral success in the region.
They have called on the party leadership to address their grievances urgently, warning that neglecting their concerns could lead to further agitation.
