The Ghana Police Service has extended an invitation to Kwame Asare Obeng, widely known as A-Plus, for questioning on Monday, July 15, 2024.
This development follows A-Plus’s recent claims on social media that he possesses information pertinent to the ongoing investigation into the death of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
“The Cold Case Unit established in October 2021, under the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to handle cases of this nature has been working on the investigation into the case and closely engaging with the deceased’s family,” the police said.
The police statement, issued on Monday, highlighted the significance of A-Plus’s potential contribution to solving the case, which has remained unresolved since the tragic incident occurred.
