The Member of Parliament for the Salaga-South Constituency, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, earlier today met with 2026 BECE candidates in the East Gonja Municipality ahead of the start of their examinations, which officially begins today.
During the engagement, she encouraged the candidates to approach their examinations with confidence, discipline, and determination. She extended her best wishes to all the candidates and prayed for divine guidance for them throughout the examination period to ensure their success.
The MP also expressed her appreciation to the Ghana Education Service, teachers, parents, and all stakeholders for their contributions toward preparing the students. She further advised the candidates to refrain from any form of examination malpractice and maintain discipline before and during the examinations.
She announced that she has sponsored hot meals (lunch) for all 1,155 candidates in the municipality. In addition, she has arranged breakfast and dinner for candidates in the Abromase, Kafaba, Konkomba, and Makango circuits. She also provided mathematical sets and pens for all candidates and supported their mock examinations.
Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah reaffirmed her strong commitment to promoting education in the constituency as part of efforts to build human capital and create sustainable opportunities for her constituents.
She was accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kassim Yazid Rabiu; the Municipal Director of Education, Madam Abiba Bakari-Soale; the NDC Constituency Chairman, Mr. Haruna Abdul Aziz; and other officials from the Municipal Education Directorate and the Office of the MP.
