Supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have reportedly vandalized the Akumadan Police Headquarters in protest over the delayed election results.
According to Fatawu Bayaga, ABC News Gh’s Ashanti regional correspondent, the protesters claim the Electoral Commission (EC) has completed the process and should declare the winners, accusing the EC of attempting to rig the election in favor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In the chaos, EC officials and others were forced to flee for their safety, while several properties, including special luvers, were broken.
