Dr. Raymond Ayilu, economist and member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Team, has praised Ing. Kwabena Agyepong for his dedication and service to the party, highlighting his sacrifices and loyalty over the years.
Speaking on ABC In The Morning on Friday, January 23, 2026, Dr. Ayilu described Kwabena Agyepong as a distinguished party man whose commitment has set him apart among the current NPP presidential aspirants.
“Ing. Kwabena Agyepong is one of the presidential aspirants who has suffered for the party,” Dr. Ayilu said, noting that his contributions and long-standing dedication have not gone unnoticed within party circles.
Dr. Ayilu went further to suggest that Agyepong’s experience and leadership qualities make him a strong candidate for a prominent administrative role within the party. “He should consider leading the party as the National Chairman,” he added, emphasizing that his guidance could help strengthen the party ahead of future elections.
Kwabena Agyepong, who is among the aspirants contesting the NPP’s presidential primary ahead of the 2026 general elections, has long been recognized for his strategic insight and active involvement in the party’s grassroots mobilization. Supporters say his leadership could bring a renewed focus on unity and organizational efficiency within the NPP.
Dr. Ayilu’s remarks come at a critical time as the party prepares for its internal primaries and strategizes for the national elections, with several aspirants vying for the chance to represent the NPP as its presidential candidate in 2028.
