The National Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has been involved in a serious accident.
The incident occurred early Saturday morning around 1:30 am on the Kumasi-Accra highway near Aduapompo.
Mr. Ahiagbah was immediately rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he is currently receiving medical attention.
Paul Kwabea Yadoh, the Ashanti Regional Communications Director for the NPP, confirmed the accident and provided an update on Mr. Ahiagbah’s condition.
“He is responding positively to medical care,” Mr. Yadoh assured, bringing some relief to party members and supporters who have been concerned about his well-being.
Details about the extent of his injuries have not been disclosed, but hospital staff are reportedly optimistic about his recovery.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
