The National Teaching Council (NTC) has revealed that out of the 20,181 teachers who participated in the 2023 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE), over 9,556 individuals failed to obtain the required pass mark.

In a press release by the Council, the official results are scheduled for publication on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

“The National Teaching Council (NTC) is set to release the results of the 2023 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) 2&3 on Thursday, December 21, 2023,” the statement said.

According to the NTC, 52.6% of the participants, totaling 10,625 teachers, successfully passed the exams.

The NTC emphasized that candidates can check their results through the council’s website, using their unique examination pins. Detailed instructions for result verification, including the option to print provisional certificates, will be provided to ensure a transparent and accessible process for all candidates.

“All candidates can check their results from the NTC online portal at exam.ntc.gov.gh by using either their pins given during registration or their examination index numbers using their phone numbers. Candidates are advised to print their provisional certificates after checking results.”
