Anti-corruption campaigner Vitus Azeem has praised the Attorney General’s handling of the case involving former National Investment Bank (NIB) boss, Kwabena Adu Boahen, describing it as a strong and strategic move.
Azeem emphasized that even if the AG does not win the case, the approach sends a clear message to public officials about accountability and the consequences of corruption.
He stressed that such actions are necessary to maintain the integrity of public institutions and deter future misconduct.
The comments come after the re-arrest of Adu Boahen, whose legal team has threatened to release sensitive national security information in response to the charges.
