Health Minister, Kwabena Mintah Akando has called on doctors at the Tamale Teaching hospital, to resume the suspended emergency and outpatient services it withdrew early today following the altercation that ensued at the hospital on Tuesday.
His call follows a donation of some medical equipment to the hospital at the request of the doctors.
Addressing the media at the ministry in Accra, the minister stated that he has no intention to disrespect any doctor and further called for collaboration to enhance service delivery in the health sector.
Meanwhile, the minister has urged the optimum use of resources across various medical centres to ensure quality delivery of services.
Acknowledging the inadequacy of medical supplies, the minister said that cannot be a hindrance to service delivery, urging diligence in resource usage.
