Veep, Minister of State, donate GH¢50K to support cook-a-thon attempt

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has generously donated GH¢30,000 to support Failatu Abdul-Razak’s Guinness World Record (GWR) cooking attempt.

Additionally, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance and Member of Parliament for Karaga Constituency, has contributed GH¢20,000 for the same purpose.

Alhaji Shani Alhassan Saibu, the Northern Regional Minister, along with Dr. Adam, presented the combined gift of GH¢50,000 to Failatu’s team at the location of the ongoing cooking marathon in Tamale.

During the presentation, the Regional Minister commended Failatu for her courage in undertaking such a challenging attempt. He encouraged her to break the existing cooking record, emphasizing the unique opportunity to showcase northern Ghana to the world and highlighting the significance of hosting the event in Tamale.
