Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, spearheaded a special clean-up exercise in Kumasi’s Alabar area today as part of Independence Day activities.
The initiative, which began at 6 a.m., aimed at clearing filthy drainage systems and unkempt spots to improve sanitation.
The exercise started from the Manhyia Palace area, moved through Appiagyei traffic, and was expected to conclude in Alabar before noon.
Authorities encouraged residents to maintain cleanliness and support ongoing efforts to keep the city hygienic.
