The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has issued a formal call for students involved in examination irregularities during the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates to assist with investigations.

Candidates whose results were withheld due to alleged involvement in irregularities are urged to report to the WAEC Regional Offices where they sat for the exams on the dates specified by their names.

The students are required to come with their parents or guardians as part of the investigative process.

In a statement, WAEC warned that failure to attend the scheduled investigation would not prevent the Council from making a final determination on their cases.

The call for students to cooperate is crucial to ensuring that the irregularities are fully investigated and resolved.

The affected students are encouraged to comply with the process, as the outcome will play a role in determining the legitimacy of their exam results.
