In a recent development, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has taken firm action against Dr. Mrs. Shine Agatha Ofori, the headmistress of West Africa Senior High School (WASS).
The cause for concern arose from her involvement in the unauthorized collection of funds from students, prompting her immediate interdiction.
In an official press release by GES on Thursday, July 2023, Dr. Mrs. Shine Agatha Ofori has been mandated to relinquish her duties as headmistress, placing the administration of the school under the temporary supervision of the Regional Director of Education.
This arrangement will persist until the Regional Disciplinary Committee concludes its investigation and reaches a final verdict in the matter.
