The National Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has issued a fiery declaration, insisting that former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta will be brought to justice for alleged corruption.
In a viral video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), Mr. Nketia assured Ghanaians that no individual implicated in corruption would evade accountability, regardless of their current location.
His remarks come in the wake of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) officially declaring Ofori-Atta a fugitive as investigations into financial misconduct intensify.
With political tensions rising, Mr. Nketia’s bold stance has sparked nationwide debate on the government’s commitment to fighting corruption.
“We will bring everyone to book regardless of their whereabouts,” he stated emphatically, reinforcing the NDC’s determination to root out financial mismanagement.
As the search for Ofori-Atta escalates, many are eager to see whether this will mark a turning point in Ghana’s anti-corruption efforts or become yet another politically charged controversy.
