A 20-year-old man, identified as Sammy, has allegedly beheaded his seven-year-old brother, Messiah, in a shocking incident that has left the Kwamo community near Kumasi reeling in disbelief.
This brutal act occurred last Sunday when Sammy lured the innocent boy into a dense bush, where he used a sharp knife to commit the unthinkable.
Reports indicate that Sammy, who is believed to be mentally deranged, confessed his horrific crime to his younger sister, prompting her to inform their uncle about the tragedy.
In the aftermath of the gruesome discovery, local authorities, including the Assemblyman for Kwamo, Kuntu Blankson, confirmed that the community is in a state of utter shock.
He recounted how Sammy’s mother, a trader with three children, had sent her daughter to call Messiah to join them at the market.
The community gathered to confront Sammy, who led them to the bush where Messiah’s lifeless body was found.
