Responding to allegations that the NPP flagbearer contest has been manipulated to favour rivals, George Ayisi affirmed that internal consultations have addressed fairness concerns.
‘The issue should be laid to rest as party executives have engaged all stakeholders on actual reasons for some decisions and not to favour any other candidate,’ he told ABC News GH on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Ayisi emphasised that transparent dialogue has reassured delegates that the process remains impartial.
He also reiterated the Ken Camp’s commitment to youth empowerment and grassroots mobilisation, noting ongoing visits to universities and constituency meetings.
“We are going to continue empowering the youth and assuring them that their future is bright under Kennedy Agyapong,” Ayisi said, adding that time is short but momentum is building ahead of the January 2026 primaries.
