The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has announced that the ministry will soon embark on a limited recruitment of teachers for Senior High Schools (SHS).

In a Facebook post dated July 30, the Minister disclosed that the recruitment process is set to commence next week.

He urged potential candidates to stay informed about the application details and the specific areas of focus for the upcoming recruitment exercise.

Dr. Adutwum expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m pleased to announce that a limited recruitment drive for high school teachers will commence next week. Stay tuned for more details on how to apply and the specific areas of focus for this recruitment.”

This announcement is part of the ministry’s efforts to address the staffing needs in various Senior High Schools across the country.

This development follows the recent announcement by the Ministry of Health (MoH) regarding the recruitment of 15,200 nurses and midwives, effective from Monday, August 5, 2024.

The MoH, in a statement released on July 26, confirmed that the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has granted the necessary financial clearance for this recruitment.
