Nana Kwame Bediako, an independent presidential aspirant also known as Cheddar has confirmed that his running mate for the upcoming elections will be a woman.
In an interview, Bediako shared that the announcement would be made soon, keeping voters in suspense. “We will unveil when we are ready.
So when I unveil, you will see everything clearly but for now, everybody will be kept in suspense,” he said.
Bediako emphasized the importance of his decision to choose a female running mate, hinting at the balance and representation he seeks to achieve in his campaign.
He explained his reasoning, stating, “Let me protect her and let me eh… it is a she, of course, it is a she, I will not come with a he alone. Yes, you think how were we made. I have to come with the same structure, the tree I came from.”
Though Bediako has yet to reveal the identity of his running mate, his remarks suggest a focus on equality and partnership.
As the political landscape heats up, all eyes are on his forthcoming announcement, which could play a major role in shaping the trajectory of his campaign.
