A fire at the Job 600 building within Parliament House has swiftly brought under control by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) on Tuesday morning.
The blaze, which erupted in a store room, prompted a rapid response from the fire service to prevent further damage.
Greater Accra Regional Commander of the Fire Service, ACFO 1 Roberta Agrey Ghanson, reported that while the fire’s origin is still under investigation, the swift intervention by her team prevented a potentially catastrophic situation.
“The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained,” she confirmed.
