The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has unveiled the timetable for its 2026 Constituency, Regional and National Executive Elections, outlining the processes and key dates for the party’s internal polls.
The schedule, which has been made available to party members, aspirants, stakeholders and the general public, details the various stages of the electoral process, including the opening and filing of nominations, vetting of aspirants, appeals, balloting, and the eventual elections at all levels.
According to the party, the timetable is aimed at ensuring a transparent, credible and properly coordinated process in line with the NDC’s constitution and approved election guidelines.
The NDC has urged Regional and Constituency Executives, prospective candidates and members to familiarise themselves with the timelines and comply with all requirements throughout the process.
The party stressed that adherence to the outlined schedules will be crucial to ensuring a smooth and successful exercise.
“Compliance with these schedules is essential to guarantee a smooth, orderly, and successful electoral process,” the party urged.
The elections are expected to determine new leadership structures at the Constituency, Regional and National levels as the party prepares for the next phase of its organisational activities.
