George Ayisi, Communications member for Kennedy Agyapong, has interpreted recent Africa Policy Lens survey data as evidence that some NDC voters regret their past choices.
He pointed to the surprising crossover support, remarking, “It is ironic when NDC people will support the NPP.” Ayisi argued that this phenomenon stresses widespread disillusionment with the opposition and offers an opening for Agyapong’s candidacy.
Highlighting the need for decisive action, Ayisi called on party delegates to “sign the antidote to rectify whatever we sought for—and make our candidate come out better” in the upcoming primaries.
He insisted that NDC sympathies shifting toward Agyapong demonstrate a growing appetite for fresh leadership and pragmatic solutions within Ghana’s electorate.
