The Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Rashid Tanko Computer, has praised his NDC colleagues for their support and collaborative efforts that contributed to the party’s victory in the 2024 elections.

Speaking on ABC in the morning, Dr. Tanko highlighted that the overwhelming endorsement of the NDC reflects the anger felt by Ghanaians, particularly among the youth.

He also criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP), describing it as disorganized.

“We have made history that a political party in opposition for 8 years will organize itself, come out strongly and ‘beat’ the ruling government, which had the full support of the Electoral Commission,” Tanko said.

In addition, Dr. Tanko emphasized that the incoming NDC government is committed to completing all projects that were abandoned by the Akufo-Addo administration, ensuring they are not left to deteriorate.

He stated that it is vital to finish ongoing projects before starting new ones to conserve the country’s limited resources.

“We will remove all the obnoscious taxes they place on the good people of Ghana and bring back the glory of Ghanaian business.”

“The NPP was voted out because of the abuse of power.”
