Aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Secretary position, Hon. Paul Kwabena Yandoh, has received an encouraging reception from constituency executives as he commenced his campaign tour across parts of the Ashanti Region.
The first day of the tour took the campaign team to New Edubiase, Akrofuom, Obuasi East, Fomena and Bekwai, where constituency executives welcomed the aspiring regional secretary and engaged him on his vision for the party.
According to the campaign team, executives in the various constituencies acknowledged Hon. Yandoh’s years of dedicated service, loyalty and commitment to the NPP, particularly his role in supporting and defending the party during its time in opposition.
The engagements, they noted, provided an opportunity for grassroots leaders to interact directly with the aspirant and share their expectations ahead of the party’s internal elections.
The campaign team said the interactions reflected growing confidence in Hon. Yandoh’s leadership credentials with many constituency executives expressing the view that his experience and commitment position him well to serve as the party’s next Ashanti Regional Secretary.
Speaking after the engagements, the team expressed appreciation to the constituency executives for the warm reception, frank discussions and words of encouragement received throughout the tour.
The campaign is expected to continue in other constituencies across the Ashanti Region as Hon. Paul Kwabena Yandoh seeks the support of delegates ahead of the NPP’s regional executive elections.
