Former Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Kwabena Yandoh has officially filed his nomination to contest for the position of Ashanti Regional Secretary pledging to bring experience, transparency and accountability to the office while strengthening the party’s administrative machinery in the region.

Mr. Yandoh said his decision to seek the mandate of delegates is inspired by his desire to build an efficient, accessible and transparent Regional Secretariat that effectively serves the interests of party members from the grassroots to the national level.

Having served as the Ashanti Regional Communications Director, he believes his years of experience have adequately prepared him for the responsibilities of Regional Secretary. According to him, the role afforded him the opportunity to engage party structures extensively, coordinate strategic communications and defend the policies and ideals of the NPP through various media platforms.

He noted that the experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of the party’s internal operations, positioning him to provide the administrative leadership required to enhance efficiency within the Regional Secretariat.

Mr. Yandoh further stressed that if elected, he would ensure that concerns raised by constituency executives and grassroots members are effectively represented at the National Council of the party of which the Regional Secretary is a member.

He explained that strengthening the link between the grassroots and the national leadership remains critical to maintaining the unity, growth and electoral fortunes of the party.

Touching on his vision for the office, Mr. Yandoh pledged to run an open door administration founded on transparency, accountability and integrity.

He said party members deserve a Secretariat that is responsive, accessible and committed to keeping them informed on key decisions affecting the party.

“My greatest strength is my relationship with the grassroots. They know me, they trust me and they know I have consistently stood with them. I want to bring that same commitment to the Secretariat and ensure that their voices are heard at the highest decision making level of the party,” he stated.

Expressing optimism about his chances in the election, Mr. Yandoh said he is confident that delegates will reward his years of dedicated service to the party.

“I have picked forms, I have filed and I believe I am going to win this election as the Regional Secretary. Because you see me talking for you and always standing up for you, I want to bring that same dedication to the Secretariat to ensure your voices are heard at the highest levels,” he said.

Mr. Yandoh’s campaign is anchored on the values of Experience, Transparency and Accountability which he believes are essential for building a stronger and more responsive Regional Secretariat capable of advancing the objectives of the New Patriotic Party in its political stronghold.

“Let’s Choose Experience. Let’s Choose Accountability. Let’s Elect.

Paul Kwabena Yandoh as Ashanti Regional Secretary Who Works Directly for the People.”
