The University of Ghana has suspended 14 students for two academic years following findings of disorderly conduct and violations of institutional rules.
According to a statement released by the university on Monday, the disciplinary action stems from investigations conducted by the institution’s Disciplinary Committee.
The affected students are prohibited from engaging in any academic or extracurricular activities throughout the suspension period.
In a related action, the university has sanctioned 97 students for engaging in various forms of examination malpractices.
The penalties were issued after formal hearings confirmed breaches of examination regulations.
Furthermore, two additional students have been officially reprimanded for conduct the university deemed inappropriate.
Reaffirming its stance, the University of Ghana emphasized its commitment to enforcing discipline and safeguarding academic integrity on campus.
