The Acting Executive Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), Ruth Dela Seddoh, has disclosed that postings for potential national service personnel will be released by November 1, 2025.
Speaking in an interview on JoyNews on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, she urged all eligible personnel to exercise patience as the system for postings is being reviewed and will be completed soon.
“The transition team has been put to place and the framework for the new system has been set up…I can assure any prospective personnel to calm down as by November 1 posting will be done,” she said.
Her assurance comes after the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment ordered the suspension of the NSA’s Central Management System (CMS) in June due to integrity issues, leaving more than 150,000 potential service recruits uncertain and anxious about the next line of action.
The suspension halted this year’s postings and raised concerns about the future of national service placements.
On June 18, President John Mahama issued an order for an indefinite suspension of the CMS – a system responsible for NSS postings – to enable a thorough technical and forensic examination.
Since then, the Authority has undergone administrative changes following the audit, with Felix Gyamfi, the former Acting Director, reassigned to the Finance Ministry.
