Passengers who rely on VIP Jeoun Transport services will begin paying higher fares from Wednesday, April 8, following the company’s announcement of a nationwide price adjustment.
The transport operator indicated that the revised fares will affect both its standard tour and executive coach services, covering major intercity routes from Accra to destinations across the country.
Under the new pricing structure, travellers opting for standard services will now pay GH¢120 for trips between Accra and Kumasi, while journeys to Sunyani and Tamale will cost GH¢170 and GH¢290 respectively.
Routes to the Upper regions have also seen notable increases, with fares from Accra to Bolgatanga set at GH¢330 and Wa at GH¢320.
For passengers choosing executive coach services, the updated fares place Accra–Kumasi trips at GH¢150, while travel to Sunyani and Tamale will cost GH¢200 and GH¢360 respectively.
Long-distance routes under the executive category have recorded some of the highest adjustments, with tickets from Accra to Navrongo priced at GH¢420 and Bawku at GH¢430.
The fare revision extends beyond Accra-based routes. From Kumasi, passengers travelling to Tamale will now pay GH¢210, while those heading to Bolgatanga will be charged GH¢250.
According to the company, the new fare structure has received management approval and will be enforced across all operational routes nationwide.
