Ghanaian TrapAkan sensation Dikoo has officially released his debut album, Daa Nkwa, marking a significant milestone in his music career as he seeks to establish himself as one of the emerging voices in Ghanaian street music.
The 12-track project, whose title translates to “Eternal Life” in Akan, reflects Dikoo’s vision of achieving peace of mind, personal growth and building a lasting legacy through music.
Known for blending Asakaa, trap, street rap and Afrosounds, Dikoo has developed a distinctive sound that draws from Ghanaian hip-hop while capturing the energy and experiences of street culture.
He first gained attention with street anthems such as “On God,” “Lungu Lungu,” “Just Do It” and “Alert,” gradually building a loyal following through performances at Kantamanto Trap House and viral moments within the street music scene.

Daa Nkwa further explores this sound, bringing together elements of Ghanaian hip-hop, Asakaa, trap, street rap and Afrosounds. The project also builds on the musical direction showcased in some of his earlier releases, including “On God,” “Lungu Lungu II,” “STF Craze” and “Alert.”
The album features two major collaborations, with Arathejay appearing on “Lungu Lungu II” and Larruso on “Prayer.”
Its release was preceded by the lead single “Ahosepe,” which translates to “Joy” and gained significant attention following Dikoo’s performance at Kantamanto Trap House.
Dikoo, who gained wider attention this year after featuring on Kweku Smoke’s “Mmereniho” off his No Days Off Album, released the project under Dikoo Worldwide, distributed by Rain Labs.
With Daa Nkwa, Dikoo is not just dropping his first body of work. He is announcing himself as one of the new voices determined to make Ghana’s street stories live forever.
