John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has vowed to reopen investigations into major unresolved cases in Ghana if elected in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Speaking at the NDC’s manifesto launch in Winneba, Central Region, Mahama highlighted the need for justice in the country, criticizing the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for failing to address critical issues.
He painted a bleak picture of the nation’s current state, describing Ghana as a “bleeding country” suffering under the weight of cronyism, corruption, and economic hardships.
Mahama called on Ghanaians to vote for change, promising that a new administration under his leadership would bring an end to the NPP’s alleged impunity and mismanagement.
“Our dear nation Ghana is bleeding, Ghana’s soul is calling for change. Mother Ghana is crying for its true, genuine, and patriotic citizens to rise and reset our beloved nation,” Mahama declared to an enthusiastic crowd of party supporters.
He stressed the urgency of the situation, urging voters to act decisively in December 2024.
“We cannot fail Mother Ghana, and I therefore urge all to vote for change in December 2024.
Your vote will end cronyism, corruption, and hardship,” Mahama concluded, underscoring his commitment to leading the country toward a brighter future.
